VE Day 80
Newton Longville

Newton Longville
Thursday 8 May 2025
Newton Longville Parish Council is pleased to invite village residents to an event taking place 80 years to the day after the end of the Second World War in Europe.
The venue (unless specifically stated) is:
Longueville Hall
Hammond Park
Whaddon Road
Newton Longville
MK17 0AT
Newton Longville's event on 8 May 2025 is registered with VE Day 80
This is a free event and there is no need to book your place in advance. Please though do try to arrive early as the hall doesn't have unlimited capacity and are expecting a good turnout. It would be a real shame if you arrive a bit late and can't get in through the door...
There will also be very limited parking on site for the evening, so please try to leave your car at home (very few people in 1945 owned a car of course, and even fewer had the petrol coupons to run it!)
Not compulsory by any means, but please feel free to come dressed for the part!
